So starting off I had an appointment and was immediately told I would have to leave my vehicle overnight for something that a tech should have looked at that day. Is that not the reason for an appointment? I was then told the service writer has never heard of this issue before (the speedometer reads 4mph faster than it should, verified by GPS), I am looking to have the tire size set correctly to fix this. The next day when I returned to get my vehicle, I was informed that no repair had been done, after leaving my vehicle overnight. I was then informed that if the speedometer reads within 5mph, thats acceptable. I have never had a vehicle read more than 1mph + or - of GPS. But 4 is acceptable to toyota? I was also told that the reason it needed to be left overnight was due to techs working on other vehicles, again what is the point of an appointment then? By the way, calibration for tire size is a VERY common thing. Also as the vehicle is reading a higher speed, it is also racking up miles faster than it truly is, and since your warranty is based on milage, this makes it FRAUD. This is my first toyota and my first time dealing with a toyota service department, it neither instills confidence or trust in the brand.

I had made an appointment with Bell road Toyota, and do to unseen circumstances I miss my appointment. I call to reschedule and they told me to still bring it in. I got there at 2:30 and they still managed to get it done in two hours, and right before they close I was really impresse with there managing of my Suv and its running great.

I waited in the waiting room for over two hours, only to find out by going to the service desk myself that my vehicle had already been ready for pickup. Improving communication with customers when their vehicle is ready would make the experience much better.

The service advisor was fine as far as scheduling and timeliness. However, not everything was inspected for the service. Wipers were not checked, for example. I could tell because my windows were filthy and the wipers were never moved. Also, he tried to sell me a service I clearly didn’t need (I inspected the part when I got home). He would have been better to sell me the wiper blades that I need.

Over the past 4 years, I have been charged that should have been covered by my Platinum plan. Second, I have waited hours for decisions regarding my maintenance program, Thirdly the latest is my tires which apparently you don’t acquire anymore. I was told to go to Discount tires and buy some. Or, it was suggested I buy a different tire than what is on the vehicle. Who drives a car with different tires? How do you offer a program that doesn’t support the product? Lots of issues.
