I knew the service on my vehicle would take some time to complete, however, I believe had I not inquired about the status of my vehicle in the final hour then it would have been too late for me to pick up the vehicle before closing time (I live 30 min away). As it was, the vehicle was still being worked on (rushed to finish up?) as the service dept was closing down at 5:30. I wish the communication would have been better by the service dept to inform me in advance when the vehicle would be finished, without me needing to initiate that communication in the final minutes before closing time.

I had to call to make an appointment months ago to fix a recall item on my 2020 RAV4. When I arrived nobody greeted me. I had to stand around in the garage until someone asked if I needed help. When I was finally helped, my appointment had disappeared and according to the service rep, you cancelled my appointment because the part was back ordered but nobody notified me. I said I also scheduled a 60k service at the same time. It had also disappeared. The vehicle was admitted and had an oil change and tire rotation done. Also I had them check an issue with the back seat latch. I called your dealership at 1630 to see how the service was going and was informed that the service rep would call me back. He texted me at 1630 with the MPI report and had a couple of items that were in the yellow range and also info about the back seat latch. The appointment was at 0900. It took you 7+ hours and a phone call from me to find out the progress to send me ANY info about the vehicle!! I would have liked to have changed out the cabin and air filter had you notified me earlier!! I had no choice but to pick up the vehicle and will have to reschedule the filter change later. This is the second time in 3 services with 3 different vehicles that I have experienced terrible service. I spoke to Chris, the service manager, when you performed service work on my Tundra in February of this year was so bad. I have never had issues with your service department before February of this year. I don’t know what has changed, but you need to fix it ASAP! It starts with good communication. You should have called me about the recall part being back ordered. Technically, you should have ordered the part when I made the appointment months ago so it would have been there, ready to go. Very disappointed in your service!

I was told that my car would be looked at and fixed, if possible. It was decided to forego the diagnostics and a part would be ordered to fix it, and that I'd be notified when the part was here, in about one week. It's more than two weeks, and I haven't heard anything.

First time at Toyota from a 2015 ford f150 lariat to a 2009 Toyota highlander I picked up from neighbor. Got its first oil change in my possession at the shop and Alex was awesome. Great customer service. Great attitude, loves his job, always had a smile, definitely a good guy! :) we waited outside for an hr estimated time but left in about 20 mins. All done and great. Pedersen Toyota was a great experience. 10/10 recommend.
