Unfortunately, my recent service experience was extremely disappointing.
After picking up my CPO 2022 Lexus NX350, the vehicle immediately began running poorly and produced a large amount of white smoke from the exhaust. The issue was later traced back to the engine being significantly overfilled with oil during service.
My biggest frustration was communication. Throughout the day, I made multiple attempts to reach my service advisor by phone, text, and email and was unable to get timely updates regarding a situation that had left me concerned about potential engine damage.
I understand that mistakes can happen. What matters most is how they are handled afterward. In this case, I expected more proactive communication, more urgency, and greater transparency regarding the condition of my vehicle and the steps being taken to ensure no long-term damage occurred.
I hope the dealership takes this situation seriously and improves both quality-control procedures and customer communication moving forward.
