My service visit was on 10/11/25
Advisor failed to go over my multipoint inspection.
On 10/13/25, as I was driving on the freeway 41 N with my two young children, the car died on the freeway in the middle of high speed traffic. The California Highway Patrol had to tow my car off the freeway due to the immediate danger me and my children were in. AAA towed my car back to Selma Nissan since they were the last ones who worked on my car.
The mechanic inspected my car and found that the engine air filter was extremely dirty and debris from it blocked the sensor and that it was a safety feature that Nissan has to prevent damage to the engine. To fix this issue all we needed go do was replace the filter. I was NOT informed of this on my visit from 10/11/25, had I known this would have taken care of it that day and paid the $65 to replace. BUT again, the advisor failed to go over my multipoint inspection.
This small oversight could have been the cause of a much bigger issue had me and my kids been in a car wreck on 10/13/25. Ismael said that the advisor was new and did not have access to the multipoint inspection to go over with me. So that tells me that he was not only not properly trained but also did not take the initiative to make sure he was able to log in to access the multipoint inspections.
My filter ended up being replaced at no charge but that does not make up for the emotion stress and trauma it caused me and my kids as traffic was swerving around us to avoid hitting us. It was a terrible experience.

I received the worst customer experience! Ismael Chavez was extremely RUDE and would make very rude comments when speaking about the car not only was he very rude it took 3 days for my car to be fixed I expressed that it’s a very long time without any type of transportation and Ismael didn’t care at all . He kept demanding that I will have to pay a 100 dollar deductible because the issue didn’t have nothing to do with a recall he contradicted himself when he explained one recall it sounded exactly like what was wrong with my car then when I asked why wouldn’t it cover due to it sounded like the recall part he changed the name of the part that needed to be repaired I feel if I had not escalated the situation to management Ismael would have charged me for a feel that didn’t need to be paid. I feel his is very dishonest i really am considering never returning for business due to his untrustworthiness.

There was a great deal of confusion regarding the recall. It turned out there were two recalls. I received three different call from the national office but there is no data on the engine recall.
