Service warranty data doesn’t jive with sales dept data. No option on your website to make any changes to service appt. Called service 630am on day of and got “mailbox full”. Called sales and got same response. Finally called business # and lm for them to have service call me. By 230 pm called service and no one ever got the mssg

Before this service I had to other services and they were the worst and my husband and I thought about trading our car for a different car. But Tony changed that for me this time. I was so excited to finally come to the “new stand-alone” genesis dealership because u’re way closer to my house than Laguna Nigel. but I quickly became disappointed that I could use my own full synthetic 5w-30 oil even though I had specified it on my appointment request. person who initially checked me in & helped me gave his reasons so I said “ok rules are rules let’s be proceed.” what got to me I spoke to 2 different genesis techs while I was in the waiting area and they had no idea of this rule (they looked dumbfounded when I told them and replied to me with a “really?”) then the final tech that checked me out to collect payment (super nice btw) I asked him same question “why I couldn’t use my own oil?” and same response “I didn’t know that … I’ll notate it on ur service records for next time to see if u can.” what?!?!? I thought it was a rule! now I feel like I just got scammed … just sad.

I had an appointment for a safety recall. I found out later in the afternoon that the part for the recall was not available. There was no communication about the part, not being available. I waited at the dealership for six hours until I asked about the status of my vehicle. I am not satisfied with this experience at this dealership at all. This was my first and last time.
