Sherry greeted me with a smile. She looked over my appointment and went over what I needed. She explained what they would be doing and told me how long it would be. She offered a ride back home. When done she texted me my car was ready. Perfect.

Brought it in, left it 5 1/2 hours, then was told the part wasn’t in, (that wasted my entire entire day) the manager called me that evening, and the following day it got fixed in an hour. I’ve had similar experiences with San Leandro, (finally got a person there w/ common sense after I previously hung out to dry for hours and hours) and Santa Clara; same thing. Why isn’t an appointment time the time the technician works on the car; approximately ? We’re supposed to just bring in the car in the morning and pick it up before the close of day? What kind of appointment time is that?
I really can’t see me buying another Hyundai with the experiences I’ve had throughout the Bay Area, not to mention if North Korea invades South Korea and I wouldn’t be able to get car parts; just sayin’…
Thank you for asking, but what are you going to do about it, I’m imagining nothing.

Parts were not ordered when I had been told (in writing) that they had been. No one bothered to check before my service appointment if they had arrived. So I had to come back a second time. Making the appointment with Matthew a second time was challenging. Never picked up phone. Voice mail box was full. When I finally did get appointment and showed up I was told he had went home. His boss did help me and got the repair finished but the entire process was frustrating and time consuming

Matthew texted me to tell me my car was ready. The text asked if I needed a ride to the dealership. I responded “yes”, but no Lyft was scheduled. I waited. I texted Matthew three more times and phoned repeatedly (busy signal) and got no response. Calls to the service department led to voicemail. Eventually I had to inconvenience my wife to drive me to the dealership. Matthew’s excuse was he was at lunch. A poor excuse since two hours after the first text, he had still not responded.
Horrible, horrible service!
