You asked for feedback, so here it is—this was an extremely disappointing experience.
I left my 2022 Ioniq 5 with you for a full week after a detailed 30-minute phone call outlining the issue. When I called after four days to check in, I was told the car hadn’t even been looked at. It also wasn’t ready by the time I returned to town.
When the vehicle was finally seen, I was charged $289 for a “diagnosis” of a steering vibration—but no actual diagnostic procedures were performed. There was no wheel balancing, no runout check, and no meaningful investigation. The explanation I was given—“the foam in the tires goes bad”—was not only unhelpful, but incorrect. A tire shop identified the real issue in about 15 minutes.
I was then presented with $2,346 in recommended repairs. I am now having the same work completed at an independent shop for $1,400, using better equipment and with more confidence in the diagnosis.
Additionally, the parts pricing felt excessive: $63 for a cabin air filter that retails around $20, and $32 for battery pads that cost roughly $3. The “preferred service” package largely consisted of basic maintenance items that could be completed in under 30 minutes.
Overall, the lack of communication, delay in service, questionable diagnosis, and aggressive pricing made this a frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend taking a hard look at your intake process, diagnostic standards, and pricing transparency for future customers as you’ve lost this one forever.

Joey was great - did whatever he could to help- but my 2018 Ionic Electric needed a new starter battery and the VIN number was used to order a new battery and the wrong battery was sent - it was for a Hybrid and not an all electric Ionic - that made me have to get my son back to El Monte from Glendale where we live when I assumed I would be able to drive my Ionic home…. Your company needs to check their database system.

This not about the person who help me is annoying that u come at 7 am to do service but u have to wait until 7:45 because u have no one to do ur service Nissan Honda Toyota the all have mechanics ready when u come in this is the only dealer that u have to wait until the mechanics comes to work until 7:45 that’s 45 min that us as a consumer we waste waiting I think u should let the mechanics comes at 7 so people that we have busy schedule we can leave happy knowing that r day is going to be good that’s just my point of view thanks best regards

My issue was never fixed. The issue is there is no continuity with the mechanic who takes the test drive and witnessed the issue to the mechanic that actually does the work. Also, it's nearly impossible to get a mechanic to drive with you so you can show them where noises are coming from. Nobody offers a solution so I end up having to spend an afternoon waiting around in the hopes I can catch a mechanic before they clock out

I truly think that Joey did his best given the parts access and staff that he had available. Unfortunately, the entire process took about 50 days. I feel sure that this sort of problem would’ve been resolved much more quickly by another brand. The car sat untouched for many days of those 50, waiting for information, parts or labor.I have similar concerns about the threat of an ICCU failure. The current wait time for that fix (which still isn’t a complete ) is pretty scary. I absolutely love the car, but the service support is simply not up to standard. My service advisor Joseph Flores have added tax to the total invoice of my service which includes both parts and labor, where only parts should be taxed. Plus the sheet that includes the total tax he showed me at the check out counter was not included in my copies. I was overcharged for the service and am not satisfied with the overall experience.
