My vehicle reported malfunction in the SAS airbag system and the blind spot monitor. Toyota technician said they could not duplicate. Yet the vehicle still repots both malfunctions. This does not give me great confidence in the ability of your technician.

In for oil change and service tech did not reset the oil status indicator. Would have required another visit just to reset it. Did find a YouTube video that helped me do it myself. But seems to be a pretty obvious thing to complete when getting an oil change.

The location of service - is it the main area or the small bay area? This is always annoying and has been confusing for a while now. The main area is much nicer than the small bay area. The service tech quoted me about 7 hours of maintenance, which I didn't have time for. Why isn't this mentioned beforehand when I make the appointment? It would seem easy for the person on the phone to tell me there are some recommended maintenance items for my car. I pay extra for oil changes and such by coming to Toyota instead of going to some sort of quick lube place, in part because I feel like you're helping. me keep track of this stuff. Most notably, the techs managed to mess up my car by not tightening some bolts or something on a flap under the car, which I didn't discover until I was on the highway going home and heard a scraping noise. This ended up costing me probably 90-120 minutes between having to come back to the shop to figure out what happened and get a replacement part installed. I realize mistakes can happen, but no one really even apologized for the mixup. They were all nice about it and clearly knew it was a mistake, since there was no charge, but I would have thought people would apologize for the mixup and the wasted time.

Service was on time and done quickly. Two oddities. Whenever I schedule service online I never get a confirmation email (there is confirmation on the web site after completing the process tho). And despite signing up for new wipers online and covering that with the person doing vehicle checkin, the service advisor seemed to have no knowledge of this and had to add this as a second step after saying vehicle was done. Likes advisor doesn’t have access to any info from the initial appointment?
