I had my Highlander serviced about a week and a half ago. I then drove at north for a few days and it made a terrible noise at certain speeds. It turned out that the heat shield was dragging on the ground and on my tires. A friend cut off some of the offending parts. When I brought the car in today, the part that had not been put on the other week was installed. So I’m happy about the work today. And apology was given to me and the service was free. However, I was not happy about the extra noise and worry in trouble that I went through up until that point.

I went to have two fluids changed for the 30,000 mile maintenance. Instead, they did a tire rotation. Someone made a big mistake in the maintenance department. When I went to pick up my car, I told him about the mistake and they were able to change the fluids today. This is the second time there was a major screwup with the service department on my vehicles. I am questioning their ability to service vehicles.

I asked to be called before any service that required a charge was done. Greg told me when I dropped my car off that he would give me a call before doing any work that would require a charge. He didn’t call me and then I was billed 200 dollars at the end of the day. He made a commitment that he didn’t keep. I am very disappointed with my service at Smart Motors, and I will NEVER take my car back to be serviced there again.
