What was billed as routine maintenance took almost 2 hours, time I hadn’t budgeted for. It seemed like the extra time was being used to find more things to suggest I spend money on. I felt used.

My spark plugs had already been replaced, Smart wanted to charge me $400 for replacing them again. Smart says all four of my tire pressure sensors went bad at the same time and wanted $800 to replace them. Smart wanted $700 per axle to replace my brake pads. AI says this price is above the highest Toyota dealership price range for replacing pads.
