We were quoted $1100 for the service we had today. When my husband came to pick up the car 2 hours later than promised when we scheduled he was shocked to see the bill was $1604. The associate explained that there is a known issue with the computer for giving estimates and that this is what it costs for the service we got. My husband already decided to do several things himself to reduce the cost, if he hadn’t have done that the bill would have been even more than $1600.
I have trusted Kari with my car maintenance for over 20 years, even though there are cheaper options, I have always felt like Kari is a place I can trust and rely on. I have to say it’s not too bad to have this be our first negative experience, but paying this bill is not easy for our family and makes me question using Kari for future car maintenance.
If this is a known issue, Kari needs to provide customers with an explanation ahead of time or figure out a way to give more accurate estimates.
