There is a good chance I won't buy another Toyota, just because I'm not interested in interacting with your service department. I've been complaining about my brakes squeaking since the 1st year I owned the car, and each time, the service department has said brakes look fine, and it's either dust or just because ceramic breaks squeak a lot. I finally went to Hurst to check it out, and decided to change the brakes, before they were actually worn down enough to change. I later found out Toyota Rav4s made in 2022 had a shim problem...I wish your department would've looked into the problem when I was complaining about it. When I brought it up to James, he said they would've checked it if they had changed the brakes, but they should've considered it before then when I was complaining about brakes that weren't worn down at all. 2nd, we brought the car in for a bearing issue, and the 1st time, the service department said it was tire cupping. Got new tires, and brought it back in for an oil change and because the noise got louder...because of the bearing I initially told them about. So my warranty covered the issue, but if we hadn't pressed, your team wouldn't have caught it. I'm honestly really disgusted with my experience with your service department.

We do not feel that our vehicle with low mileage & not even 2 years old should have bad break rotor's that shimmy so bad going down hill you feel unsafe. If toyota has such a great warranty than why is this not under warranty? This has left me unsatisfied & rethinking buying a Toyota for the first time. I’ve had several Fords & have never had this problem. I will be purchasing another vehicle in the coming months & this is definitely making me learn towards staying away from Toyota & your dealership. If this is such a common occurrence for Toyota than why hasn’t Toyota fixed this problem? Sandra K

I was quoted 2 hours for a key change and planned my work schedule based on that estimate. I had to wait for 3.5 hours resulting in me canceling work, losing pay, and looking unprofessional. People have lives outside of their vehicle so incredibly irritated by the experience today. 375 for a key and even more in lost work. Will not be coming here for service again.
