I had read from several others that the recall fix would take about 4 hours to complete. When my husband called to ask about it, he was told by a woman that it would only take 2 hours. Because of this, we did not just drop off the van for the service and pick it up later. We live almost 30 minutes away so if it only was going to take 2 hours it made more sense for him to just wait. When my husband came in this morning for the appointment, he clarified again with a woman about how long it would take to be done and he was again told 2 hours. He ended up waiting almost 4.5 hours and had to reschedule multiple work meetings due to the drastic difference between the quoted time and the actual time it took. We would’ve had no issue with it taking that long, we just would have liked to know in advance so we could have planned for that.
