I am extremely dissatisfied. I was promised a quote of $6200 for the transmission. Upon picking up the car, it turns out this quote didn’t include tax/ additional fees. Moreover, I was not informed of a credit card surcharge. Had I known, I would have transferred the money to my debit card. As a result, I paid $7000, a full $800 more than promised. Then, IMMEDIATELY after picking up the car the starter malfunctioned— it never had before. I brought the car back in the next morning, Saturday. On Monday I received a call that the starter needed to be replaced and that the cost would be $800. I initially agreed, and then immediately—within 5 minutes—called back to cancel. I was told the request was canceled but when I went to pick up the car it was completed anyway! Even though the cost was reduced that was another $480 that I did not want to spend. Also, I’ve noticed today that the clip to hold my iPhone seems to be missing from my car. Suffice it to say that I will never return to your dealership and will advise everyone I know to steer clear as well.

Tommy Jung was FANTASTIC! And the car is running beautifully. My dissatisfaction is with the *exorbitant* price I had to pay. I get it, tariffs are a thing. But Honda is in a much better place to absorb those additional costs than a retired teacher. It felt like a gut punch when I saw the estimate, and though I'm thankful for the discount I was given, it was still a huge bill.

A leased vehicle, should be taken care of. (My parents vehicle) 2024 ridgeline 14,400 miles on it. Took in for break feed back in the peddle and wheel they stated the rotors and pads where shot to over heating (seems like cheap parts installed from factory) oh they sent a picture of the damaged items with the wheels still on the vehicle!!! So how did they inspect the break system without taking the wheels off? Called the dealer they got the vehicle at and the service manager was in disbelief that from September (when we last had it in for inspection) That all four rotors and pads would be shot due to over heating, he said he would reach out to Honda of oakland and get it wright but we will see if that happens or not. And the service writer at Honda of Oakland didn’t run the vin to see what that we had an add on warranty package. So they want 1800 bucks to do the work. I called around to other shops and got quoted half the price. 0/10 This is why people don’t trust mechanic or dealers I had to take my 2024 hybrid crv there 4 times before they were able to fix it. (which was a warranty issue) I think I will try Honda of Berkeley from now on.
