I love the whole experience of getting car serviced at Toyota in LC. Love being able to shop, complimentary food and drinks available and comfortable clean chairs to sit in. The employees are all happy and ready to help. The service techs are all very knowledgeable. Today the only hiccup was trying to get Service department to pick up my call. I was transferred multiple time and I’m assuming accidentally hung up on when the Service Dept finally answered. I called back and eventually was able to schedule my appointment. As it turned out there was a spot available within 30 minutes.

Truck was brought in on 4/10 for oil change and tire rotation all good no complaints. Tech sent report for additional services and did not have time to wait since service said it would take additional 45min - 1 hour to complete. Truck was rescheduled for 4/12 @ 10am. Arrived for appointment for 10am to complete additional transfer case fluid and front differential fluid service. Anticipated for service to be completed within the hour that service rep told me on 4/10. At 1120 checked to see if truck was about completed and was told it would be another 45min, asked why and was told it due to “tire month” and mechanic were busy and a little behind. Well was there two days ago and was “tire month” and nothing was mentioned. I had to pick up my husband at airport at 1145 and asked if Toyota had vehicles to use so I could pick him up and was told we don’t do that. So then asked if mechanics even started on the truck which the service tech said I’ll have it brought around for you. So basically wasted 1 1/2 hours when was told 45-60min to complete and nothing was ever done. The is horrible communication when you tell client one thing and the client has to check on their vehicle 20mins past the hour to see status and find out the service requested hasn’t even been started.

After the fiasco of my morning visit and making my return visit that afternoon, Brandt told me my morning service rep Blue had closed out my ticket which moved me to the back of the line. I told him I had already waited 1-1/2 hours with no service done and that wasn’t acceptable. He checked with Service manager who moved me to front of line. (Still had to wait awhile.) But I feel like Brandt took care of me.

Everything was great as always except I had to contact Michael to find out if my car was ready. I waited all afternoon for a message that only came after I called and spoke to him to see what was going on. This should be done better. Thanks.

I no longer live in Lake Charles. It is a 100 mile, one way drive for me but I still bring my Tundra and Camry to Lake Charles Toyota for service because y'all have an exceptional service department. That said, I had a 10 o'clock appointment today and my car was not taken into the shop for over 2 hours after my appointment time. The complementary customer snack bar is excellent and a great personal touch offered by the Tarver family. I will continue to bring my vehicles to you, but would appreciate if you were more punctual for my future service needs. Best Regards, Mike Hankamer

Had 10:45 appt, but realized I had another 11:30 appt. Called back and explained that I needed to back up my time. They said 10:15 would get me out by 11:30, so 10:15 was scheduled and that’s when I showed up. When I checked on my car at 11:30, they had not even moved my car to service. No update was made to me about the situation. Shuttle was 30 minutes away and they said no loaner was available. So they had to pull my car so I could make my 11:30. I had to go back that afternoon. Not a happy customer today!
