The maintenance light on the vehicle came on so I scheduled an appointment for an oil change because the sticker in the car said February 2024 are 28,863 miles. The vehicle now has 28,889 miles When I picked up the car they told me they did not change the oil because it didn’t need to be changed until 33,000 miles. The only thing they did was ordered the recall parts now I have to bring the car back in for the recall
I was told the oil is only changed every 10,000 miles but obviously it is it has been 10,000 miles. I’m just confused that the maintenance light came on and the miles are more than what was on the sticker inside the car. The maintenance light is still coming on in the car. So I left the service department today today not knowing when I should bring my car back in for an oil change.
