You don't need to contact me. Austen Barker was abrupt and not hospitable. Then, even after we talked over the phone, and we filled out the paperwork, and I did the online approval, he still had the service department fix the struts that I had not authorized. Luckily, you have a young service provider named Thomas who is very upbeat and customer focused and he made sure I wasn't charged for the unauthorized service. I think Austen needs lessons on customer service.

Getting the cover to the side mirror replaced has been one issue after another along with blaming me (the client) for them ordering the wrong cover the first time. Not sure why the wrong cover was ordered the second time. Hopefully the right cover will come in now. There has been a lot of our time wasted and hard feelings created.

First of all I am a previous employee of Mac Toyota. I am a UTI graduate and ASE certified technician. I worked at Jim Doran Chevrolet for years then Toyota for years back in the 90s. So I know a thing or two. Last time I was there I was told I needed an engine air filter. I decided the replacement because I get a parts discount through the company I work for. I went to the parts store the next day and bought a new filter. I went to install it and pulled out the old one and it looked fine. It looked new in-fact. I had to drive back to the parts store and return it. Not right on the up sell. When picking up my truck this time I find greasy hand prints on both fenders and the hood. It’s a white truck. How could anyone miss that. I drove it by back in and showed it to a service person and they offered to wash the truck if i would wait another 30 minutes. I waited then walked out to see my truck in the wash line still. I went to look at it and the prints were still there but a little better. But still there in white paint. Some detailed asked if it was my truck and handed me my keys. When I got in the truck I could tell it wasn’t washed well ether. Apparently no one told the detailed it was there to get the greasy hand prints removed. For a 100$ oil change and tire rotation with a 800$ up sell attempt. I drove from Newberg and left it all day. I don’t think I will be back. I will do the service myself or find a place closer, more convenient and less expensive.

Struggled with the fact that it was recommended that I need a new battery. $279 bucks. Called and asked why and that is should be covered under warranty as my tundra has only 30,000 miles. Damian lillards toyota response was to check the battery again and then tell me it was perfectly fine. I do appreciate that the deal I made for a discount on my 30k services was honored
The shuttle driver took a very long time. Guess theres no reception from Newberg to mcminnville for his cell phone. We waited almost 1:45 1.5 miles from the dealership .
Lastly told a sales guy there I was interested in a camry. He said he has a corolla hatch back. Then didnt ask me any questions or take my number for when a camry comes in. Guess ya dont want to sell survey complainers more cars.
We got to the dealership at 9:20am
We went home with a oil change brake fluid flush and a tire rotation at 2pm thats too long guys.
April did good. I dont think the issues were her fault.

Staff were excellent…from the ladies who handled my rental needs to the service writers. My issue is…when I got my vehicle back, which just got back from the detail shop, there were hand prints and smudges on my hood and venders from the oil change. I hated to point this out but I shouldn’t have to wash my vehicle right after it was detailed because a device technician has no pride in their work and can’t clean up their mess. Also, no one seems to be able to find the right part for my left rear door or tell me where it was installed. Just frustrating. Hate to even write this but you asked.
