Bonnie made my experience with Honda a great one!. She has great customer service, very helpful and easy to talk with. She gave me a time when my car would be done and kept me informed via text messaging of the progress and that it was going to be done on time.

Carlos Lira was my service representative. I waited for my car to be serviced in your waiting room. I was called on my phone when the car was ready from a lady, but I did not answer the call not knowing the number. I think it would have been better the representative could come to the waiting area. After about 10 mins I saw my car sitting in the pick up area. I went out and waited about 20 minutes. I could see that Carlos was busy with a customer off to the side. He drove by me in the car he was addressing. I understand that he had a customer problem he was dealing with which I understand. Couldn't he of asked for help from his co-workers? Finally the woman (sorry I did not get her name) came over to me and got my paperwork. She mentioned that the only thing I needed was new wiper blades. She said that the could put them in at that time. Since I had waited for a while, I just wanted to go. I suggest that if there is something simple as that, the customer should be informed and they could have done it right away before bringing the car to the front. I thought I would share my experience to help you improve customer service. No need to call me.

I wanted an oil change - but I had to buy a service pasckage to get one (whenn I asked for a price quote over the phone I was told "I can't give you a quote until I see the exact mileage..." - really heavy-handed upsell there. I asked if the car would be ready at 1:00 pm and I was told "YES". I receive more than one text message on my phone stating "your car's service is in track" & " your car will be ready at noon"; I arrive at 1:20 pm and The Car Isn't Ready! It takes another 30 minutes to get my car. Part of the package included replacing the passenger cabin air filter - so two days later I realize the lever switching air intake into the passenger cabin is jammed and won't switch from outside intake to recirculate. So now I have to make arrangements to take the car in all over again because the mechanic can't install an air filter properly! Scott Anderson the Service Manager tried to be accomodating but it is inexcuseable shoddy work that Santa Barbara Honda does AND I WILL NEVER Take MY CAR THERE FOR SERVICE AGAIN!
