I love my car and am always happy with Honda service. Today, I had top replace a key fob. The price of the key was - expected. The price to program my key - when added to the price of the key itself - was outrageous. I thought I made a good hourly wage - and then I saw the price for that - 30 minutes of work at that rate means your "key programmer" makes more than $200 an hour. I would see this as reasonable for labor - hard work, removing parts, cleaning surfaces, torquing to specified settings, whatever. But looking up my vin and getting the correct code for my keys? This is the first time I feel completely ripped off by Honda. Very disappointing. You don't have to charge that - you just choose to because you CAN. Bad Honda Corp! BAD BAD BAD.
