I first wanna say the team that came over from Nissan is great and they have always been great. That being said bringing my Nissan to Toyota for the first time, I was actually disappointed with the outcome. Everyone is very nice and has great customer service. The disappointment was my check engine light came on and I was told they would do a diagnostic inspection and then call me to let me know what needs to be fixed to get approval before fixing it. Well I dropped my car for my appointment at 12:30 and by 4:30 I still did not receive a call. Knowing you close at 5:00 it was apparent that whatever problem was found would not be getting fixed on the same day, like i was told. I ended up calling before a call was made to me because it was after 4:30. My result was that I was told nothing specific was found but that I should direction seemed odd by changing a filter that I could find at O'Reilly. This direction seemed odd to me since I just paid $235 and if that was the case why didn't they just change it there and then? On top of this, having to pay $235 for a diagnostic after I brought in a print out of a diagnostic. Also, after visiting Toyota I visited two different mechanics in town who did the same inspection free of charge. For this reason alone, I don't know that I will be continuing my service there anymore. I got charged $235 for an inspection that two other local places did free of charge. And just to be told to go and change something myself. Honestly it felt wrong to be charged that money.
