Appointment was made a week ago, parts ordered for a recall. I dropped my vehicle off for scheduled repair- and part was never ordered. Now, I have to wait a couple weeks for the airbag recall part to be sent in for repair.
Very disappointing as we are a single family car owner and we had to borrow a car for the day. There was not an option for a loaner car while repairs are being done even though it was a recall.
Staff was nice. Augie and Pablo were great/kind and provided great customer service.
We look forward to getting this recall part fixed as soon as possible.

My Local Santa Barbara Service Provider for over 25 years was unable to locate a replacement Catalytic Converter for me. After bringing my car in for the insurance claim in February, this past week (5 months later) I was informed by other Toyota Dealers in Los Angeles that the part could in fact be purchased at other locations. Santa Barbara was NOT INTERESTED in paying retail price so I was forced to call around, locate a part and purchase on my own. Several other Toyota Dealerships within 100 miles were very well informed and helpful and this weekI was able to drive and purchase the part and deliver to the Santa Barbara Service department to be installed.I do understand how frustrating this particular issue is for everybody and how difficult it is to solve as a problem. This is why I think the Santa Barbara Dealership could used this information to HELP other customers if they so desired. Too often there is only an excuse given when unable to deliver. It is obvious that other Dealers have solved this problem. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

My vehicle was taken to the dealership the evening of 7/13/23. A note was left with keys explaining the issue as to why it was towed to dealer. Tod called at 8 am and I explained I needed a computer diagnostic done to determine the issue and agreed to the fee of $210.00. I called multiple times to get results and could not get a call back from Tod . I left multiple voicemails and even called main service number and they left him a message, still no call back. Totally unprofessional!! I declined all repairs and will never come back to your dealership again.I’m going to tell everyone I know in Santa Barbara how terrible my experience was and make sure the word continues to spread throughout the entire community!! Never have I been to any dealership that had such terrible customer service. Tod should be fired before your dealership loses anymore business and your reputation suffers anymore due to having Tod handle your customers.

I’m not. Yes sho I talked to on the phone to make my appointment but he said if I bought the service plan I would get 5 oil changes for $285. Then my husband took the car in and it was only 3 and 2 tire rotations. I would have walked away as I really don’t appreciate a bait and switch!! susan rider
