I was given an estimate for replacing brake pads and rotors for $335.52, which I approved. But the invoice listed the price as $548.46. No one had come to me to explain the estimate was in error and get my approval of the additional cost before completing the work. I was offered a credit with the service department of $150 on future service to my car. What I would be completely satisfied with is a credit to my credit card I used to pay for the service. My car is a 2010 Honda Fit with over 204,000 miles. I may buy another car before I need another service. A return of my money is what I really need and would positively influence my decision to buy another Honda and where I would buy it.

Upon my arrival at 8:24 AM on Thursday, January 18th, I was greeted by the young man working wt the far end of the outside service pod. He was very dry, unwelcoming, and acted as if I was a bother to him because I was there. Apparently true as I stated “I had an appointment, but I’d rather see next available.” He walks off without a word and brings over Joshua. Joshua greets me and asks me if I’d be staying with my car for the simple oil change and tire rotation. I asked how long? He said, “two hours, max.” <—- Read this again. Fine, no problem I’ll take the complimentary Uber home. I told him I had to be at my office by 1PM. Clearly, it’s 8:24 AM… you said two hours… that’s ample time to get this simple thing done. At 12:24 PM I finally got so tired of waiting, I had to call. I waited 21:51 on HOLD for someone to come to the phone before hanging up and calling back requesting to speak to the service manager. He answers the phone as if I have interrupted something very precious and I explained to him that I had been waiting four hours for my car to be serviced and no one can seem to tell me anything about it or locate it. In his best condescending voice he says, “we texted you. Did you not receive our texts? (Obviously not)well, the car is ready… do you need an Uber?” At this point, I refuse to argue or even give energy to insolence so I said “sure.” I finally arrive and stand outside waiting to be assisted. Joshua is with a customer, never acknowledges my very awkward stance here, and continues helping her. Very matter of fact my, he’s busy. I asked the woman in another service pod for assistance and she completely ignored me as if I was speaking to the wall to her left. Finally, Joshua acknowledges me, asks me how I got back, and didn’t know where my car was. Meanwhile I had already found and started my car from my app. Andres Charry, the previous service manager, and one technician were the ONLY reasons I still patronized this dealership. It’s gone downhill and it’s contending for last place along with Gillman Honda. I’m going to considering going elsewhere for service as this was just entirely too much today.

Erik Baatz and his service team did another outstanding job. They performed a brake job brake fluid flush, fixed and oil leak, and rotated the tires. All at a very reasonable cost. Very quickly and effectively. Erik was in communication with me the entire time from start to finish. Thanks for a job well done. Five star service.

Left my car dirty after it was work on. Also left my car park in a position where it was pretty challenging to pull out. I had to walk around the premises to find someone to help me. Honestly I can’t wait for my lease to be up. Honda care is definitely has the worse customer service I have ever received.
