We came to the service department with a positive mindset, and was warmly greeted by an attendee who ushered us to the person we would be having the appointment with. Based off first impressions, we were highly satisfied by the enthusiasm our two attendees had when welcoming us. Ming hastily directed us to the necessary paperworks and informed us that the procedure would take two hours and that we would receive a text message when everything is finished. Satisfied, we left the premise and waited patiently.
Two hours and forty minutes later, the car arrived and we were greete by the text message telling us that our car was ready for pickup. We found Ming, and he again directed us to sign the necessary paper. However, we were informed that only the inspection was completed for the day and that we would have to reschedule for a different day to have the parts installed as the parts were not yet available.
Unfortunately, we also had another surprise; we were greeted by our car dead on arrival. Shocked, we relayed our findings to Ming where he then would inspect our car. He told us our battery was dead, we would need to replace it, and we would need to schedule for a different day.
Honestly, his communication infuriated us. We came with our car to the service department functioning and running, but left with a car dead on arrival. Ming jumped started our car running, and when we turned off the engine at home, the car was dead again. Tomorrow, my brother (the other person I came with) not only will have to take the car to have its battery replaced, but will have to come again to the service department to have the car rechecked and install the necessary parts.
Overall, we left the dealer today deeply unsatisfied. This experience ruined the reputation and perception we had for the store before coming.
