I was happy with the service department but not the sales/appraisal team. I asked to have my car appraised while they had it in for service. When I came to pick it up they told me they didn’t have anyone available to appraise the vehicle. It would have been nice to receive a call ahead of time to let me know it was not going to be appraised.

I was quoted a 2 hour wait for the recall on my accord, that was not a problem so I decided to wait in the lobby. Unfortunately, that quickly turned into an unnecessary 3 hour wait. I can see in my app when my car was started and where it was parked for about an hour. I’m not a technician so I just waited, and I thought maybe it’s just parked there temporarily. Moving closer to the 3 hour mark I walked out to check on the status and let them know I can see my car is sitting there they told me they’d call me back when it was ready and the write up was made. Finally they come get me and hand me a one sided paper print out and I was on my way. I still don’t understand why my car was parked for so long if it was complete. I just want to say, I’m a very understanding person so if it was just communicated that’d it’d be longer or that they were busy/ whatever the reason was I promise I could have been given the opportunity to be understanding. I would have also been able to decide if staying that long would have worked for me, unfortunately being pregnant and sitting in a lobby for 3 hours without any communication it was very frustrating. I don’t expect the techs to know that information but at least I would have been able to make the judgment call for myself. My suggestion is to communicate better with your customers. I can speak for myself that if you need more time or if you are busy I’ll understand but myself and others can’t be understanding when we don’t know what’s going on.

Nothing against Jose personally, but I’ve made the 40-minute-each-way drive from Gloucester twice this month, and we still don’t know why the A/C is only intermittently working. Today I’m told to bring the car back “on a hot day” — THAT’S pretty hard to schedule in advance — and leave it. No loaner cars available. I was told the A/C was working fine when the technician looked at it, even though it hadn’t been working on my drive down. When I left the dealership, it wasn’t working, but 25 minutes into the drive there was cold air for about 5 minutes, then none. Anyway, I have to work, and don’t have time to arrange rides with people, so am investigating whether a shop 5 minutes from my house could replace the compressor. The logistics would just be easier. You guys had two at-bats; I’m done. Thanks for adding coolant and testing for leaks — but this needs to be fixed before JULY.
