I was not told that my rear brake light was out, I reviewed the work via the messages I received in text. I was told about my battery being weak and my oil filter being dirty but nothing was spoken of at the dealership about my rear brake light being out, which is really important since I went back on the road after my visit for an oil change. If they would have told me while I was there I could have had it replaced then instead of having to return another day.

I keep coming back, because the service department does a good job and has demonstrated ethical practices when I do business here. Many consumers dread taking their car in for service, but this service department seems to be run by solid technicians and honest customer service reps. It isn’t easy to have such a good reputation in this industry, but the dedication to service shows. It’s always busy here when I bring my car for service. It’s similar to a good restaurant that always has a line out the front door for people waiting to get in.

I dropped my car off because it wouldn’t start. I received a text with the estimated priced, agreed, call the phone number that was sent to me and left a message saying that on top of changing the battery, that they should change the oil, fluids, and whatever it was needed. I used my lunch break, got an Uber and went to pick the car up because they said it was ready, got there, the maintenance light was still on because they just changed the battery instead of doing everything that was needed. I was very frustrated, because usually they want to do things that are not even necessary, and this time they failed to do even what was needed, so I had to schedule another appointment for tomorrow 7 am in another Toyota to take car of required maintenance ????

I already spoke with the Larry about my dissatisfaction. I’ve been a customer there for well over 13 years. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation but also concerned why certain lights on my dashboard were lit up. After 3 hours I hadn’t received any notification from Jessica so I decided to call. When she was on the phone she put me on hold so she could call the garage to get a status report, then informed me my check engine light was on and would require a diagnostic fee of $180 to determine why it was on. I was angry I wasn’t informed sooner because now, as stated by Jessica, the vehicle would have to stay overnight if I wanted the diagnostic done. I feel the service agent should do a better job about keeping the customer informed and follow up with the mechanic to obtain a report sooner so issues can get resolved quickly in one visit. When ever I made an appointment for maintenance prior, I was always given a report on my brakes, etc but this time nothing was given, just the bill. Very disappointing overall service.
