I truly hate to be upset about this however I've been bringingmy vehicle in for a few years regular maintenance. Not once was I told I needed to think about tires before this incident. One tire was necessary but 4 . Non the less I had to purchase elsewhere I trust I get full disclosure and communication. I feel I did not get that .

Hello. I have been visiting Norm Reeves SD for 3 years and always feel grateful with the service. On 11/30/23, I visited for 5k service and it took 3 hours to complete this service. I totally understand because of the holidays season. Once I checked out, Luis was not available to help. Instead, there was another agent was helping me. I did not have to pay anything due to only changing brake fluid. But it took 3 hours to do this task without any communication from Luis. When being checked in, Luis told me it was only 1 hr to 1.5 hrs wait. But overall, it was 3 hours waiting. Please ensure let customer know when the service team need extra time.

No follow-up as to letting me know when car would be ready or end result of inspection. Once arrived to pickup car was given options and told to sit in waiting room. I sat for 1 hour as I was told someone would come get me. After sitting for 1 hour, I got up and explained my situation again work another agent as previous agent was gone.

Brought my 2023 Toyota Prius into the dealership here at Norm Reves on November 17. I got a nail in my tire came into service. They looked at it said they have to replace the tire. No problem. My tires have a warranty on them when they looked up they were like it’s gonna take us 10 days to get this tire. Then I was told just go down to discount tire purchase a tire bring us back. The receipt will reimburse you for the tire. I went down to discount tire. I purchased the tire I brought the receipt back and that was on the 17th I keep getting the runaround every time I call. Oh we’re waiting for this person. Oh they have the weekend off. Oh this other person has to see it. They’re at lunch right now , every time I call or send a text message the time I get no reply I came down to the dealership talk to had to see the sales general manager because the service manager was busy. The service the sales manager went over the service manager he told me oh I heard about this two days ago even though it happened 14 days ago he just heard about it two days ago and he’s waiting on a callback from someone again same old story same old story. No one wants to take responsibility as someone else’s job is someone else’s job Asked to speak to the general manager. Of course the general manager is not here asked to speak to who’s in charge when the general manager is gone, no one‘s in charge at Norm Reves Toyota when the general manager is gone, you have a general sales manager you have a service manager, but there’s no general manager or general assistant manager in charge . I just wanna get reimbursed for the tire. I understand that I’m just one person with the Toyota Prius you’re a big company Toyota Norm Reves dealership is a very big company and I understand that I’m nothing here but I just want to get reimbursed for my tires that are still under warranty. I was told to go to discount tires I went to discount tires I purchased the tire. I brought the receipt back that was two weeks ago 14 days now I’m told oh maybe in a couple of days will hear something back from them that’s not acceptable to me. All I can do is complain right reviews that’s all I can do .

I had asked if there would be a courtesy shuttle to bring me home when I made the appointment and was told that there would be one in the morning only, I would have to provide transportation back to pick up my vehicle. So, I had planned accordingly, but upon arrival I was told there wasn’t a shuttle available. I would have planned ahead of time if I would have been advised about the lack of a shuttle. That thru off my day and my friend’s day as she arranged her schedule to pick me up.
Outside of that, the staff was knowledgeable and able to provide the information for the issue with my vehicle.
