I recently replaced the battery in my Prius and paid $540.83 on Jan 06. The cost of battery diagnosis is up to 184.95 USD, equivalent to the price of a new battery at Costco, while diagnosis at Autozone and Toyota Lemon Grove is completely free.
I have been a customer of your dealership for nearly 30 years. I also purchased a new Prius at your dealership in 2018.
If your dealership still charges such high prices, customers will leave.

I had a service appointment scheduled for 9am on Tuesday 1/23/24. When arriving I was told that there was a flood due to the previous days rain and it would be longer than normal for my car to be service and have the AC looked at. I told them that was understandable and I would get my car later that day. I had to call around 3:30-4pm for an update which they did not have at the time, so I waited for a call back from Denise. When Denise called back she mentioned there was a blower malfunction with my air and I would need to replace it for ~$655. (Mind you I also now needed new brakes as well). I told Denise to hold off on the blower but to let me know my total if I were to replace the brakes. I was told by her $711. I approved this since it needed to be done. Because this was already now so late in the day I was told that my car will now not be ready until the following day at 11am. When I go the next day to get my car Denise wasn’t there so another service rep helped me. When going over the paperwork I was told that my total was now over $900. This was a complete shock to me. Not once was I told this. I had the service rep speak with the manager who did not come out to talk to me (he sat at his desk) and instead was told that Denise needed to be called. My service rep called Denise who told him that I was told it was an additional $711 to my previous charge (which was not what was communicated to me, you can listen back to the recorded call). She did tell him that there was a charge on the paperwork that shouldn’t have been there so he took that off. All in all I spent over $100 more dollars than I was quoted and was never communicated about this let alone nobody else apparently was communicated about the charge that shouldn’t have been on the paperwork to begin with. I am very disappointed in my experience there and will not be returning to this service center. The only person to help me was the gentleman that called me over to pick my car up.

Richard pomplun was the most rudest service rep I’ve ever encountered while bringing my car to get serviced. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE! I went to pick up my car and the first red flag my car is unlocked and just out in the open (could be honest mistake nothing missing) nevertheless I go inside and ask for Luis who originally checked me etc Richard says I’ll get him, but begins to help me. He grabbed my keys and print out my paperwork for me to sign so I can get my car. Originally I was playing with my Toyota credit card but it didn’t work and my phone was dead and that had my Apple Pay I ask him to use the charger on his desk and he rudely tells me no he charging his phone. So I go outside to my mothers car to charge my phone to pay for my service, Richard comes out behind shortly after and drives off. My phone comes back on I go inside and get helped by Jessica who was very understanding and when she went to pick up where Richard left off, she couldn’t find my paper work I had just signed as well as my keys, she had to personally call Richard on his cell to ask where are my items. Because this is not my first time getting service at that center I know there is two key racks why wouldn’t mu keys be on the rack. I feel it was malicious and purposeful on his behalf. It took Jessica so long to find my keys mu phone died again however Jessica let me use her charger which was more then kind and I realize she is not obligated to do so. It took less than 60 seconds and I was able to complete my transaction. Richard deserve to be fired, poor attitude as if he don’t want to be there, horrible customer service, unfriendly, uninformative, rude, and horrible representation on the service and employees at that location. I will ever recommend and I will be doing video on TikTok, Twitter, IG and YouTube in which I have a large following about my personal experience on 1/24/24
