During my most recent visit I was advised that my tires were in “terrible” condition and that, basically, I would die if I drove on them any longer. I was further told that due to the “terrible” condition of my tires, the pressure was not checked. Number one, I don’t appreciate scare tactics as I am not a naive person who knows nothing about vehicles. It is unnecessary especially in an age when most people will not pay over inflated prices for tires at a dealership. Number two, I purchased my Sienna less than one year ago, and this was my second service. I am shocked and concerned about what is being overlooked during the service process if my tires went from completely fine at one service to death traps that may explode if I hit a pothole on the very next service. Given that I do not drive off road or in any crazy or unusual conditions, I find this quick decline odd and concerning. I do not know if it means that they were not checked previously , which leads me to wonder what other items are being “checked off” but not actually assessed on my vehicle. Or, is this just a “tactic” used when service people think that they can talk or scare someone into purchasing tires (or other items) for their car. Or maybe it is some combination of both. Either way, I had my tires reassessed and I am in dire need of a rotation and alignment (which apparently was never done by norm reeves) but tires are not “death traps” as I was lead to believe. I will be looking to take my vehicle to another Toyota dealership in the future, possibly one that is less busy and provides better customer care and service.

I did not get a diagnosis on the car until I got the bill. In this case, the diagnosis didn’t add to the bill so not a big deal, but it was frustrating to wait the entire day and not have a diagnosis until late in the afternoon When the work was done. Also, the documents did not upload properly to the online portal.
