My service advisor did not communicate that my car was ready. I waited for over twenty minutes to have a service advisor approach me after the young gentleman grabbed my paperwork to place on my car and then it took almost two hours to get my car’s oil change, despite having an appointment. I had to approach another young lady at her desk in the service area to ask if I could get an update on my car and made sure to mention that I could already see it parked to the side. She said my service advisor just had to finish preparing my documents so I stepped back and waited assuming that I’d finally be getting some communication from him but she ended up giving me my key to my car after signing off and paying for the service. I don’t understand the point of having an appointment if I’m going to be ignored for other drivers when I’m parked waiting in line to even begin the process and still have no expedited service. The reason I even booked the appointment was to expedite service and keep my toddler from getting overtired and fussy. I did not receive a text to communicate that my car was ready, as John had told me, until I already had the keys to drive off. Any other dealership I’ve gone to for a service had a separate line for appointments but I’m unsure if an appointment at Norm Reeves simply means completing the intake process before arrival. Better communication from service advisors should be expected.
