Our new vehicle has been in the service department three times in the past few months. We have yet to receive appropriate communication about the service necessary and timeline for completion. I requested a supervisor each of the three times my vehicle was in the service department due to lack of communication and still have not ever received a call back from either of the supervisors at Cerritos Honda.
My Honda Accord Hybrid 2023 was taken in for service most recently before the holidays. Trevor assured me he would provide an update on Friday 12/22 and failed to call back or message about the status of the car. After an entire week of the vehicle in possession at Honda Cerritos, he informed my husband the fuel injection was running rich and the spark plugs needed replacement. (This is a NEW vehicle!) Spark plugs were “cleaned up” but not replaced. We were expected to pick up the vehicle as is, rather than fixing the problem appropriately.

Service took over 3 hours. Way too long. Service advisor told me my car was done at 5:30, had me sign paperwork and told me to wait outside for my car. Someone would bring my car in a few minutes. Waited outside for 10 minutes and came back in due to the cold. Someone else asked me why I was waiting and went to check the status. They then told me the transmission fluid was still being changed. I waited another 25 minutes for my car. My car was finally given to me 35 minutes after being told the car was ready. Terrible experience.

I have requested a call from the service manager. The service was the worst i had ever received from a Honda dealer. I was not told there would be tape on my windshield. I had to go back in to ask about that. I was to have had the calibration done. When i left all the warning lights were on
I called immediately and was told it would go away. 2 1/2 hours later, when i finally arrived home, the warning lights were still on. Now i have to return that distance again to have a service done, which i already paid for, completed correctly this time. It has been a very disappointing experience.

My check engine light continues to come on even though I have fixed every thing Norm Reeves has ever suggested that I fix on my car that it was suggested be fixed since purchasing my 2015 Honda Accord. Now it is suggested I pay $170 for another diagnostic test to see again what the problem “might” be.
