My son called the Service Department on Saturday, May 16, and spoke with a representative to confirm the price to replace the front and rear oxygen sensors on my HR-V. To ensure the right quote was given, he even provided the VIN number. He was told the cost to replace the front sensor would be $534 and he was told the part could even be covered under warranty. As a result, my son made an appointment for me to visit Robert on Tuesday the following week to replace the sensor. When I visited Tuesday, Robert told me the cost would be $681 and that he said it was a different part that needed to be replaced. When I showed my son the work order, it confirmed A/F sensor needed to be replaced, which is the front oxygen sensor. Robert only offered to reduce the price to $600, which remained well above the cost previously communicated. It wasn’t until my son called Robert that he admitted an “error” occurred between he and the parts department. My son feels like this is a simple case of me being taken advantage of given my age and knowledge of cars. Fortunately, my son was available to call Robert during his busy day at work to keep me from paying more than I should have. My son would have asked why the part wasn’t covered under warranty but he didn’t have time. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to your dealership for future repair and my son may contact Honda of North America about my experience.

I called my service advisor after picking up my vehicle while driving home and left a message for the service advisor to call me back and he did not I should have known from previous experience that I had with Norm Reeves which caused me to stop taking my Honda vehicles there due to poor service in the past and decided to give it one more shot but regret doing so. I have come to the conclusion not to bring my vehicles in for service there anymore. As an example I had new tires installed and no one bothered to clean the grease along the edges of my rims. What a mess! Valve stem caps were missing. Alignment was supposedly performed but there was no data on what the specs were before and after the alignment. Have doubt that I paid for something that may have not been performed. If no data can be provided I expect to receive a refund. Note to dealership: there are other options for servicing my vehicles and this dealership should focus more on customer satisfaction
