Grapevine Ford recommended extensive service that needed to be done. I refused the services and opted to take to a local mechanic. They were unable to find anything wrong with the engine mounts and said to keep an eye on the rear shock absorbers but did not need to replace at this time. That is why I will never have work done at a dealership unless it falls under my warranty. Aaron McBride was very nice but that really doesn’t matter when all they are doing is trying to make money off of you.

I brought my truck to get an oil change, air filter and have the driver’s door lock fixed again. Lock had been replaced less than a year prior. The service manager told me that the lock wasn’t fixed there, after a bit of back and forth she looked at her IPad and saw it had been but it’s not the same thing. She wanted to make sure I knew that it wasn’t going to be covered. I told her to fix it, need a working lock. She then told me that they were very busy and wouldn’t be able to look at it until Wednesday and if I was sure I could manage without. Wednesday came and at the end of day I called her, still hadn’t been looked at, she’d let me know. Friday it finally gets looked at and it was $649 to fix it. She let me know it should be ready Saturday if not then Monday. Tuesday I called and still wasn’t done, didn’t have the part. I understand, that with everything going on, shipping has been slowed but with a part, that I had replaced before because of a recall and the fact that this is and item that is involved in a class action lawsuit there might be a few on hand. So when I called on Tuesday, part wasn’t in and the oil change hadn’t been done I realized that because I had a disagreement with her about the lock that I was being jerked around. After my truck sat there for 9 days and nothing done I came and picked it up. I brought it to McKinney auto in Hurst directly after picking it up from you and somehow they were not only able to get the part but install it, put new tires on, do an alinement, oil change, cabin air filter replaced and have it ready the next day. I started coming to GV Ford because the service was so good but now, not so much.

There is a difference between treating a customer like a customer or making an attempt to get way too personal with that customer to be long lost buddies. Tyler knows what he’s doing and he’s very capable but I want to be his customer and not a family member. Way to many unnecessary personal questions. Alfredo Zacararias represented Grapevine Ford with the upmost Customer service!! Super professional, carried himself very well and made me feel welcomed that day and looking forward to future visits there. Although, when I drove in the customer service manager on the opposite end said his iPad wasn’t working and I, not him I needed to walk over to the other side and ask for help there...Couldn’t believe he told me that! I even asked if Ije really meant that I had to walk to the other side and find someone to help me...I’ll definitely always and recommend Alfredo!! I wish I could have given him a tip!
