I recently visited Norm Reeves Honda Vista for an oil service. During my previous visit, I was informed by a member of the service team that I had one complimentary oil service remaining. Based on that information, I returned expecting that final service to be covered. Unfortunately, during this visit I was told that the complimentary service was no longer valid. The person I spoke to back in September 13 told me I still have a free service and let me know that it will be due in 6 months which is in March. Knowing that I brought my car today the 28th of February. What was most disappointing was not just the charge itself, but the lack of clear communication and the overall customer service experience during this visit. I asked to talk to a manager and they said no manager is available today. I had planned to continue bringing my vehicle here for future oil changes and maintenance, but this interaction has made me reconsider. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward clearer communication and improved customer service for future customers.

Excellent five star service from Valerie Machado. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with the entire process. She made everything easy for me and was very accommodating to my needs. I will continue to come here again for my car service needs.

Louie was nice enough during my visit, but overall my experience was frustrating. There was a delay at check-in because his work iPad wasn’t functioning properly, and he asked me if I had an appointment—even though someone had just confirmed that I was on his list. I was then told I needed a brake fluid exchange for $189 and that, along with my oil change, the total service would take about three hours. After speaking with my husband, I declined the brake fluid exchange because I genuinely felt like I was being upcharged—especially as a woman, it didn’t sit right with me. Interestingly, my car was actually completed in about an hour and a half, not three hours as initially stated. I also was never notified that my car was ready. I had to return to the counter myself to ask about the status. Overall, the service felt inconsistent. It seemed like they may pick and choose who receives exceptional service, which is disappointing as a paying customer. I hope they work on communication, transparency, and providing the same level of service to everyone.
