Hello, while the service for the oil change was completed, the cover underneath was left open. I noticed there was a rattling noise while driving and once I parked I saw that there was something loose in the front underneath the car. Please let me know how to resolve this. I will be driving a long distance tomorrow. Thank you.

Mr. John Bautista listened attentively to concerns regarding loose left rear wheel mud guard, and damaged trunk hinge. Both concerns were completely resolved at 80K mile service. Mr. Bautista demonstrates excellent communication skills, as well as professional courtesy. He arranged Uber transportation to facilitate return home and vehicle pick up st completion of service/repairs.

Incident: 700 miles after a transmission fluid service, the Transmission Fill Plug/Breather Assembly was discovered sitting on the radiator support/air intake—completely uninstalled.
• Technical Concern: The transmission case has been open to the atmosphere for 700 miles. This has exposed the HCF-2 fluid to ambient moisture (California humidity cycles), road debris, and potential dust contamination.
• Requirement: 1. A documented contamination inspection of the current fluid.
2. A complimentary fluid exchange to ensure system longevity.
3. A formal entry into the vehicle’s permanent Honda service history regarding this oversight.
Secondary Issue: AC System Failure & Potential Misdiagnosis
• Context: Following the recent recall work, the AC system experienced a total loss of cooling accompanied by "white smoke" (atomized refrigerant) through the vents.
• Observation: Fluid leaking from the vehicle was dismissed by advisors as "condensation." As an automotive professional, I identified the fluid as PAG oil/refrigerant mix, not water.
• Dispute: The dealership previously cited an "aftermarket part" as the cause without providing a technical nexus. Given the verified sloppy workmanship on the transmission (the missing plug), I am formally requesting a Master Technician re-evaluate the AC system for leaks at points of contact handled during the recall.
Tertiary Issue: Pattern of Quality Control (Tires)
• History: Previous service resulted in an attempted installation of budget-tier tires despite being invoiced for Michelin premiums (later corrected only upon my inspection).
• Conclusion: There is a clear, documented pattern of QC failure. I am seeking a resolution that ensures the vehicle is restored to OEM safety and performance standards without further out-of-pocket expense.

I am pleased with the service provided by Jonathan, but not with the work performed on my car; they left a part disconnected and lying off to the side, which is completely unprofessional. This is the second time they have failed to provide quality service on the cars I have consistently brought to them.
