Informed the service writer the tailgate wasn’t working also asked him to disable the engine shut off when you apply brake at intersections. I drove 220 miles to the dealership. Also left a sticky note on steering wheel description of needed repair. When they brought the vehicle out tested tailgate didn’t work. I was told it would take 2 more hours to repair tailgate. Unfortunately I needed to return home. Spoke with service manager said it was not on work sheet so it was not addressed. I’m a little disappointed to say the least.

You said it would take 2 hours. It took 2 hours and 35 minutes to complete a diagnostic run and rotate the tires. I can only imagine that is hooking up a computer and then swapping out the tires. Seems a little long to me.

I have used the service department for many years at Pedersen and today was the very first time I was thoroughly disappointed and felt distrust in my service. I waited for 4 hours and 15 minutes for a routine service and oil change. I checked on my car after 3 hours and I was told that it would be at least another hour if not longer. I was frustrated at this point and he said he’d try and get a message to the mechanic to get it going. I feel that there were several cars booked at the same time and mine was last to go in. This was very unprofessional and unacceptable. After 2 hours my car was still not being looked at. Management needs to input a better setup for time management and make sure that the mechanics are not overbooked which can also allow them to do a better job and most likely enjoy their job! If a client schedules an appointment our time is valuable as well and time is money. Furthermore it’s like a first come first serve basis and this is not okay when the appointment is scheduled. If you don’t have enough personnel to do the job maybe reschedule people to a more appropriate day or hire adequate staff to get the job done efficiently and in a timely manner. At the end I was not charged for the service which was a convenience but still your business is going to lose money if you have to do that on a regular basis. Your service department is better than what it was today so I hope the next time I go in will be better or I’ll find somewhere else to go. Lastly, after checking on my car my paperwork reflects that I requested an express oil and filter change. I don’t know how 4+ hours is considered express. I surely hope that I don’t have any issues with my car being “expressed” through. Thanks for your consideration on doing better for people who trust your business.

Service awesome again. You are the only place I go that charges me a fee to use my credit card. Not gonna lie, it’s not the way I like to be treated as a customer. It’s irritating enough to get me to consider taking my business elsewhere. Between Toyota and Volvo, we have purchased and serviced 10 vehicles with Pedersen. This policy upsets me enough to look at my options
