They couldn’t fix the tailgate issue and now the sliding doors both don’t work. I noticed this when I got home and couldn’t reach anyone even though service was still open. I trust Cody when he says he is working on a solution for the tailgate and hope the team can fix the sliding doors tomorrow first thing.
I do need to know if the open recall was checked. I mentioned it to Bob at the intake and he said he’d check on it; however, the hardcopy overview doesn’t mention it.
Alex did a great job explaining the work that was being done on the car and answered all of my questions.
When I made the appointment I was told the service would be completed that day. When I arrive for my appointment, I verified what was being done and if there would be any problem getting it done. I was told no, unless they ran into any problems. I dropped the vehicle off at 1 PM and didn't hear anything by 4 PM. So I texted and asked. At 4:30 I was told they were still looking at my vehicle but it definitely wouldn't be done by closing time. I was told it did need new brakes, and they would send me an estimate. 24 hours later, I still hadn't received anything or heard anything. So I called and left a message. I got a call back and was told the vehicle is done and I could come pick it up. I knew the brakes had to be replaced… But the fact I never received an estimate on how much it was going to cost is unacceptable. The fact I had to continue to follow up for my vehicle is unacceptable. This delay on getting services completed in the timeframe for my appointment… This is the second time that's happened.
An oil change took 3.5 hours to complete.
I had an appointment yest it took 3.5hr to do a tire rotation and multi-point inspection. Totally unacceptable.

1st text O got was to tell me it will take at least an hour longer than planned.
Notified car was done and first thing they said when we went back to get car was it got damaged! Pedersen Toyota has a legal obligation to return my car back to me in the same condition they received it! But guess what? They tell me it’s my responsibility to run through my insurance and call police. NO, YOU ARE responsible and need to file claim under your insurance. Also the devaluation for damage. I want a call from someone higher than Bo. I should not bear all the loss for an incident you created. You parked in a fire lane! Left there unattended to be hit by someone else! Bo was polite but again you have a legal obligation to return my car as you got it. I have been coming to you since 2016 and never has my car been left here before checking out.

An oil change should never take over three hours, especially when you have a scheduled appointment.
It is unfortunate that how you schedule your appointments that we had to wait for 3 hours to get our car back for an oil change and tire rotation. It is very disappointing and disrespectful to us. No consideration for our time.
A simple oil change took 2 1/2 hours. In all fairness William my service manager said the department was running behind. But it is disappointing that after scheduling an appointment everything took so long.
