Bob was great. I have no issues with his service at all. I do, however, have several issues with the way the service department is managed. The first being the way the service advisors computers are set up. We walked in, and there was no one at the first podium. We stood there for several minutes while all the service advisors were at their computers, but couldn’t see us so we went unnoticed. Finally someone saw us and came over.
When I went to pick my car up, I was ONLY allowed to talk to Bob. Even though there were several advisors, and all I needed was to pick up my key, I was told I had to stand in line at Bob’s desk until he served 3 other people. Why on earth would I need to discuss this only with Bob? Even if there was something I would need to discuss with someone, why can’t the other advisors tell me what the notes say?
After waiting for several minutes I asked someone if there was anyone else I could speak to. He took me to another advisor who seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to help me. So I said “I’ll just grab my key myself then” then suddenly he had time to help me.
Stop wasting people’s time with arbitrary rules. Overall I’m incredibly unsatisfied with my experience.

I strongly object to the 3 % credit card fee that you are charging. I expect that you can find a solution that doesn’t impact your customers

Everything was fine except they forgot to check the tires rotated box - which is what the vehicle was brought in for. After rechecking, they said the tires were rotated and the box was missed being marked. I have to trust that the rotation was done.
Multiple times in the shop for the same problem very frustrated. Buying our certified new hylander was a great experience, but a month later nothing but disappointment trying to get it fixed :(
Pedersen is aware of our dissatisfaction. They had our vehicle for over two months with a part supposedly on back order. When I showed them where to order it instead, they finally did, and then tried to say it still would not show up. When it did show up, we finally got the car back. It is not the first issue with Pedersen and with this car. Three new cars purchased there. Loyally serviced all 4 of our Toyotas there. Multiple people we have referred to them from Estes. Plans to buy a Sequoia next year. We are not “complainers,” but enough is enough. While this car was still sitting in limbo it made it easy to make the decision to buy our other daughter a Forester instead of another RAV4, and to buy it anywhere but Pedersen. And now we will look for somewhere that wants the business of servicing our 3 Toyotas and selling us a new Sequoia next year that they will take care of us at an acceptable level. If that is no longer something we can find at another Toyota dealership, we will no longer be Toyota customers either. We have been loyal Pedersen and loyal Toyota clients since 2018–you had to work really hard to lose that loyalty, but here we are.

I was very pleased with how quickly the service was performed on my vehicle in the past it would take 4 ot 5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation and today only took about an hour
