In the past few weeks, I have had my vehicle in for service. The first time, I had an appointment for an inspection and an oil change. I arrived at my designated time (12:30pm) and it was explained to me that I might want to add a few services to my vehicle including flushing my transmission fluid. Approximately 4 hours later, they completed the services on my car and I paid roughly $1,000. I was incredibly frustrated with how long it took, but realize that it sometimes happens. More recently, I made another 12:30 appointment because since having the transmission fluid flushed, my car hadn’t been shifting well. I was told they would re-flush the fluid to make sure it was working again. After about 3.5 hours of being there, I was told that all they had to do was drive my car to make sure everything was good to go. A few minutes later, I received a text saying my car service was completed. About 30 minutes after that, I checked in with Antonio and he told me it should be pulling up soon. I got my final paperwork and waited a bit longer. After 4.5 hours of being at the dealership, my car finally pulled up - an hour after I received the text saying my car service was completed. Because it took so long to flush the transmission fluid and test drive it, I had to cancel a work session (i.e. losing income). Needless to say, I was incredibly frustrated that I had to spend my entire afternoon into evening at the service center and miss out on income for one service that took longer than the previous time I was in and got multiple services done. I am going to think twice about scheduling my next service at Toyota.
The service was fine but the music I had to listen to for the hour and half was awful and gave me a throbbing headache. If and when I come back I’ll bring ear plugs
