Rodney and the whole university Toyota service department are the best. I was expecting to pay a much higher amount to get my car repaired but once they looked at my vehicle they realized that my problem wasn't as bad as I thought. I ended up paying about $350 less than expected.
He kept us up on all the steps of the repair process.
I waited for 31/2 hours for my vehicle. I was sent text saying I needed new front brakes and the estimate. I sent back saying not today and then I went out and said I didn’t want it done then. That was at 12:00, my appointment was 11:00. He said ok and they would text me when it was ready to have a seat back in the waiting area. I sent a message around 2 asking when it would be ready, I didn’t hear anything. Then at 2:30 I went out to the desk to ask about my 4 Runner, I could see it sitting in the parking are. They couldn’t find my keys, then they found them they were in my car. He then apologized and said no charge, I appreciate that. I had a contractor coming to my house at 3:30, I live an hour away and thought I had allowed plenty of time. I had to call the contractor and have him change time. When I got into the SUV and looked up they hadn’t even changed the sticker in the window for when the next oil change was due. It was not a good oil change experience. I have always had good experiences there hoping it was just a bad day.
My sister was not satisfied. She was hoping I would have to replace it. She pushing me toward leasing.

Dealership provides great service
Rodney was great! Excellent customer service
Very expensive for the work that was done, Rodney was a bit mouthy to me at first but apologized after I confronted him about it
Wait was long. Appointment was at 1:00. We saw the truck getting parked in the lot after completion. After 20 minutes of no text we walked to the desk. I was told the mechanic was most likely doing paperwork. After another 10 minutes of no text went back to the desk and asked some to get the keys. We needed to leave.
The time for the mechanic to enter the “paperwork “ should
Not take 30 minutes. Our total wait was 1 hrs and 40 minutes. Seems very long for an oil change. On a positive note, all the associates per very nice and helpful.
Very helpful and answered all my questions.
