The service was done quickly. The staff was friendly and explained the new system completely.

The service department was able to schedule my vehicle for service quickly which was very convenient for me. The 25,000 mile check was performed and a state inspection was conducted as requested. I am very satisfied with the service that is received from University Toyota.

During my initial communication with Rodney there was numerous times I was interrupted halfway through my sentence. Either a question or a comment. The continued interruption and at times condescending tone irritated me to the point that it caused me to curse on the phone. It was not an insult directed at him. Just an explicit word in regards to letting me finish my speaking. That caused him to hang up the phone on me. I called back and we were able to continue our phone conversation. My biggest issue was my daughters car had a full brake job one year ago and we were being told it needed it again. Additionally all of the boxes in the technician report were checked green yet all of the items checked green were listed as needing to be done. I found this very confusing and Rodney offered no reason for it other than the technician must have marked them wrong. I as a customer had every right to question the information in the report. Especially with the way the report was filled out. I as a customer also had every right to be able to speak fully without interruption. In my opinion Rodney handled the phone call unprofessionally from the start.
Rodney is a bit rough. He makes the customer feel like ignorants. While I waited for him, I saw him do the same to other customers specially the females. I told him I had an extended warranty and he went and checked and told me I had the platinum plan. I assumed that was the extended. When I went to pick up the car, I saw that I was being charged for the oil change and asked him if the warranty didn’t cover the service and showed him the card I received from Toyota, he basically reprimanded me and told me I should have told him at the beginning. I did tell him. He took the keys and sent the car back for additional services covered and I had to wait an extra 45 minutes. He needs to soften up and not treat the customers as if they’re dummies, we’re paying good money for service and advice from a professional not a scolding.
I found Rodney to be unprofessional and rude. He got an attitude with me for not having an appointment. I dont think he is the right person for that job. And ive seen other reviews saying similar things about him. I will not be coming back. Dont call me please.
