The customer service that was shown by the service manager Rodney was so terrible I’ve decided that I will never bring my truck back to University Toyota. Which is 5 miles from my home. I will travel travel 20 miles down the road to Fairmont to Dan Cava for now on. He was rude, argumentative and acted like it was my fault I didn’t tell him I had Toyota care when I was getting my oil changed because his computer system didn’t tell him I had it. I am customer that likes a Toyota dealer to handle all my mechanical needs because they are certified mechanics for my truck. Hope my words don’t go unnoticed. Loyal Toyota customer Frank.
I spent $5000.00 and the problem is not fixed. They kept telling me the computer gave them the codes to fix the problem. My dash alarm lights all kept coming on at once. They said it was catalytic converter. When I asked how catalytic converter affected the dash lights, Rodney told me it did. Picked up car and lights still coming on the dash. I came back and Rodney said it was 02 sensor. I said “ I thought it was catalytic converter” . He said computer says 02 sensor now. I questioned him again and he said” I have a master mechanic working on it”. So I had 02 sensor replaced. I drove home and dash alarm lights all came on again. I will be back at dealership and will demand a fix , an explanation and compensation for this inadequate , expensive ordeal. And finally, the electric loaner car should be sent to junk yard as battery only charges 15 miles on 12 hour plug in.
Very nice and quick service. We have been with Ron for a long time, but he made this an easy transition.
I'm not really excited about everything going digital but it's the sign of the times.
I was in on February 16 to have my 10,000 mile maintenance and oil change completed. The following Wednesday I came home and backed into my garage. A few hours later came out to a giant puddle of oil under my car. Discovered that they did not put the drain plug back in tight enough and it leaked out. Very disappointed. Thankfully, Rodney got me in quickly and got it corrected. Just wanted to give my feedback so someone could address it with the service technician to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Although he is still learning, Anthony was very personable and responsive to my needs.
Tony was very helpful; He handled as well.

When I bought my car on Wednesday, I was told when it would be serviced, I get free car washes (when I was signing the paperwork). When I had my car serviced yesterday I was told they don’t do that anymore.
Also, the people I interacted with, didn’t have much personality. I bought cars here in the past and had them serviced here many times, everyone has always been so friendly, and seemed to enjoy their job. Yesterday, it did not seem that anymore.
