I am very disappointed with my service today. I came to get an oil change and a tire rotation. It's been 4hours and they are barely working on the vehicle. They told me it would take anywhere between 2-3 hours. You would assume after 3 hours someone would talk to you or tell you what's going on. Nothing. I had to ask the guy what's going on with my vehicle approximately 20 minutes ago and he tells me they are barely working on it and then they still have to wash it. I told him I don't want him to wash it as it's going to take 4-5 hours. No thanks. It's just doesn't seem reasonable that it's taking 4 hours for an oil change. Crazy. The service department needs to do better. Customer Service is out the window. Communication should be priority and it's obviously not.

This is the second Genesis GV brought to you. Both cars (GV70 and GV80), when I got them back, the aftermarket Subwoofer I had in the car was disconnected. Quite frustrating

Great customer service experience
The service felt underwhelming. I brought my car in for a recall issue. Also, I asked about the oil consumption test as the car has been running rough. This happened before, and I was told that the car had run out of oil. However, I never had an oil light come on in the car either time. I never received an update about my service. I consistently had to call in to try to get information. The next day I returned the rental in the morning and assumed the car would be done hours later only for me to call as I pulled off the exit and be notified that I had to give approval for a recommend service. A service advisor never called me to ask about the additional service. I declined, and my car wouldn’t be available for another 1 1/2 hours. I came the next morning and the car was ready and clean, thank you. I spoke to Pat the GM about my experience and I’m not sure if I was dismissed as I never received another update from the service department about my car. I still don’t know if they investigated why twice my car ran out of oil without a low oil light on. Maybe the light doesn’t work? Maybe this is all a “one off” experience - we will see. By the way I responded to the auto text twice for someone to call me after it asked if I had questions. That seems to work as well as my oil light does. Regards Shawn Kohler

I have been extremely impressed with the service department. My car has gone in a total of 3 times and everything has gone very smoothly. I haven’t had this good service in a very long time. My G80 will only be serviced by Genesis of Corona!

Cardinale Genesis staff is friendly and very helpful.
However, Genesis needs to up their game. Need to resolve defects in quick time. Have two issues with Genesis care without any immediate resolution.
1. Covers in the trunk. Very flimsy design.
2. Road noise coming from the car roof.
Follow up was great, felt concerns were heard .
I will never come back to this dealership location. I felt like the service dept backed me into the corner and wasn’t very helpful with my situation.
Rachel was very helpful and patient through every step of the way. Made it easy and quick which is what we like. Also the free car wash at the end was the cherry on top. We will continue to make our appointments at this location. Thank you!

I arrived at 12:17 and waited 20 minutes before being helped. I was quoted a 2 hr wait time. I was waiting at the dealership while my vehicle was serviced. After 2hrs 30 mins I walked over to inquire when it would be completed and was told 20 mins. After another 30 mins I walked over again and requested to please have the car wash stopped and my car brought around. I was not communicated with or given updates throughout the process as the 2 hrs passed. There was no acknowledgement or apology for it taking over an hour longer than quoted. When requesting my car be brought around the service advisor said that would be fine, I would just need to sign a few papers. She turned around and did not say anything to me after that. So, I walked over to her desk. She placed two papers down on the desk without speaking. I signed them and then walked outside. She did not say anything to me after that.
I understand that sometimes things may be late and it's out of our control, but overall it was a very poor experience as I was not communicated with at all, the lateness was not acknowledged or apologized for and the service advisor seemed upset.
He has always shown his professionalism and extra effort when providing service for your dealership
