This is the first time my car was picked up for service. That was the main reason I bought the car 3 years ago but Genesis never delivered on that promise, hopefully going forward that will continue

Working with Elizabeth is always a pleasure because she is so understanding and takes the time to ensure all my concerns are addressed. The thing I would like the dealership as a whole to address is that there aren't enough service loaners, especially electric service loaners, which are supposed to be a part of the Genesis Experience as advertised by the automaker. I think you need to spin off the Genesis side from the Hyundai side if you really want to compete in the luxury space. It needs to be closer to Lexus of Serramonte in terms of the level service expected, not like City Toyota.
The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced! I've owned or leased several BMWs dating back 30 years. Really liking the body style of the GV80, I thought I'd give the new Genesis a try. However, after my last two experiences with the service center I will NOT be owning a Genesis vehicle in the future. It is completely unacceptable to spend more than half my day at the service center for a SCHEDULED maintenance.
Furthermore, I've never seen a more toxic environment. While the service manager was very friendly and seemingly doing what he could, sitting in the waiting room the entire day, I witnessed so much unprofessionalism by the staff and management. This is not something I would expect from a luxury dealership.

When we bought the car late on October 31st, we drove it home to Sausalito. The next morning it was dead and had to deal with getting it back to the dealership by jumping the 12 volt battery. I was told that it could be fixed while I was waiting and after a little over an hour the 12 volt battery is being replaced. We didn't drive for a day. The next day we drove it a little bit. And then day after that it was dead again. This latest survey is based on the second visit in which it was apparently fixed but time will tell. He's not too happy with the fact that it wasn't properly fixed the first time. It was a brand new car. Two issues, not just the service, but was selling a car that clearly must have been jumped before it was sold to us.
John was really fast, while maintaining accuracy and also kind spirit. Very pleasant experience!
