The one hour maintenance didn’t get done until eight hours passed. I had to wait two plus hours on site which is very frustrating.
We should be able to get answers about our vehicle via secure email. The service representative should be able to see what coverage we paid for when buying the vehicle, including warranty, paint, carpet, etc. Having owned the vehicle for under a year, it is ridiculous that, because of long-standing bad design, we now have a damaged vehicle that costs an absurd amount to repair.

Alicia was absolutely amazing through the whole process. She had one job to do and she got it done. I am so grateful to her and to Elizabeth who filled in with my phone calls while Alicia was on vacation, but I give 100% credit to Alicia, she nailed it and that girl should be a supervisor or a manager as a matter of fact her and Elizabeth should be a general manager and managers service dept in my opinion. However, the service department appears to be woefully understaffed. I had to schedule a routine 1st service for my Ionic 5 over two months in advance. I showed up early for a 9:30 AM appointment, and my tire rotation and multi-point inspection was not completed until after 3 PM. The mechanics got their lunch break but I had to wait and wait and wait.
I will be exploring other options for future Hyundai service department needs.
Waited at the shop 4 !! hours for a routine oil change and tire rotation despite having an appointment made a month in advance. Staff tried to be helpful but the entire service dept is chronically over-booked. 1 month wait to get an appt and 4 h for service that should take 30 min is not acceptable. Had long delay on my prior visits as well. Hyundai needs to do something to fix the entire scheduling system or hire more staff.

My car was due for pick up between 2-3. I went to get it at 3:10. Not ready. No reason given. He called me at 4 said it would be ready at 4:30. No reason given. Unacceptable and inefficient handling of your service to your customers. Dr. Vera J
From start to finish this was NOT a satisfactory experience. First, I had to wait over 20 minutes just to drop off the car since my assigned service rep was busy. Next, the car was not ready when promised (nearly 3 hours late) and I had to initiate the call to the rep to get an update. I was then advised there would about a 45 minute delay which turned out to be 2 hours (reportedly due to staff shortages and fleet work). Last, I was supposed to have a complimentary car wash and vacuum but only the wash was completed. My service was simple routine maintenance which took an unacceptable 7 hours. Alicia was friendly but should have communicated better. There is no need to contact me as I described the situation and reasons for my rating.
I had waited weeks for my diagnostic appointment (said to take one hour), but had to wait 2 hrs to speak with an agent. My car was kept over two weeks, and my eight calls garnered no information as to why the Ionic failed to start 3 times in the past with under 29,000 miles, and could be unlocked by strangers without any key/transponder.
We are still waiting for replacement key. After waiting for 3 hours we were told to come back for replacement key still no one contacted us.
Alicia was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. Im a happy customer and would recommend to others.
