I can strongly recommend against using Hyundai dealership service for car repairs. I brought my car Ioniq 5 in for computer upgrades due to notifications I’d received from Hyundai. I noticed that the wheel was shaking when I exceeded 60 mph and wondered if the alignment or tires needed adjusting/fixing The service department lead Danny said they would look at it so I brought the car back as I was leaving on a trip for 2 weeks and gave them the dates I would be back and need the car. They assured me they could diagnose the issue and repair the car by the time I was back. that did not happen. It took him a week to get back to me and he gave me an estimate of things like replacing the wipers ( which I had already just done at home) filter replacements but the shop still had not done diagnostics on the wheel shaking. he assured me he would get back he did not email me an itemized estimate. He did not. I called several times and left messages while I was away and no response. I came back from nearly 2 weeks away and no response. I needed to Bart to my work because I did not have a car. That was fine. I called again a fourth time and finally reached a representative and then on Friday at 6 pm Danny called. He said two tires replacing and alignment needed to be done. He then also gave me costs estimates of windshield replacements various filters at a cost of nearly $1500. When I asked for a loaner vehicle since the car was not done in time as I had a memorial to go to that was not accessible by transit and work duties requiring me to be available at late night and early morning hours he said they had no loaners. When I asked if they could cover the cost of a rental he said no. I explained again I already had replaced the wipers and could replace my own filters and he brought the cost down . I spent two weeks waiting to be told I needed new tires and the car needed alignment with no fixed car. I called multiple times and never heard back. I felt I was getting gouged on prices parts etc. it was truly ridiculous I brought my car to BigO tires and did the alignment and wheels for sand price and with a warranty done within an hour If I had the bandwidth I report this service center to the better business bureau but I need to get to work and deal with other pressing issues

I was happy with the service I did receive, but a tad disappointed the service dept. was understand beyond Rafael's control, and because of that couldn't address other concerns I have with my vehicle at the time of this service appt. Rafael, did apologize for the lack of staff,and took very good care of me and my vehcile.I am very hopeful they'll be fully staffed next time I arrive for service. Thank you, James

Waited two weeks for 10k service but had a concern about excessive idle long when made appointment. After we dropped off the car the night before we were told we would have to bring the car back to check the idling issue because the diagnostics were backed up. Taking the car from San Mateo is a pain and to be told we would have to bring it back is unacceptable.
