It took three hours for a 10,000 mile service. That is my only gripe. When I went to check on it, it had been ready but sitting in the service bay. I wonder when they would have called me if I hadn’t gone and asked about it.

We have gotten our car serviced at the El Monte location at least four times since purchasing at this location (over 2 years). Every time, the name of the owner under the vehicle’s VIN # name is always under a completely different name and not the owner. Every time we communicate this issue, employees state they will change it, but upon our next visit, it’s under another person’s name. This issue is consistently not fixed. We are worried that when the car is paid off, a stranger’s name will be listed under our car’s VIN. In addition, the Hyundai team at El Monte is completely negligent in informing us of the car’s status throughout the service time. Each time, it always takes longer than informed and requires us reaching out to the team to ask for an update. We would otherwise be completely left in the dark about this. It is your team’s responsibility to inform us accordingly about the car’s status, especially if service is backlogged. Our experience with other car companies has not been like Hyundai’s whatsoever. We will not be purchasing another car with Hyundai El Monte due to the poor quality in service.

My car went in for a re furbished new engine. When i went to pick it up i drove two blocks and it stalled at an intersection and the engine light came on. I barely made it back to the dealer ship . Julio had it looked at and told me a rat had chewed a couple wires in the wire harness.. and that that was why the car wasn't running good. The so called rat chewed wires. If this was the case i would have noticed it at my home.. the car was doing other noticeable things that wasnt because of the wires. So if a rat had chewed the wires it had to have happened at the dealership. So the wire harness isnt under warranty so my car was just as bad when i left as it was when i brought it in . So now my car sits in my driveway un able to be driven after all of this . Very un satisfied with Julio and the Hyundai dealership.
