Was not called when car was ready, I stopped by after picking up kids from school. After I picked up the car, I had to return because an engine light was on and had to wait at the dealership.
i’m not satisfied with how my situation was handled. around 11 am i had noticed my airtag on my keys was showing they were last in sylmar, 15 miles away) on the 210 West. I asked about it when I got the the cashier and was told that even if they were taking the car on a road test, it shouldn’t have been taken that far. I get the paperwork and see that it said the in mileage was 150,074 and the out was 150,075 so I finish the transaction at the cashier at get my car. I looked at the odometer and see that it says 150,105 miles. this means that there was 31 miles put on my car. I then go back into the cashier and bring up my concern that the paperwork was incorrect. I was then sent to Ara. He speaks to the technician who worked on my car who says he drove the car between 6 and 12 miles which means there are 18 miles unaccounted for. After continuing to explain to Ara my frustrations, he asks another service advisor to come speak to me. I was immediately met with hostility and a condescending tone. I was told that “he (the service tech) estimated the mileage wrong” and that there was nothing they could do and that they do not call customers when a road test needs to be performed. Ara handled the matter very professionally which I appreciated but the other service advisor did not. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you.
