Every that works the customer service are including the gals at the area where I went To pay my bill. They were kind and a great and friendly. Dan is awe too. Always professional and a nice man.
Today’s experience was subpar. When I dropped off my car, I let the technician know that I would be waiting at the center, even confirming they had seats/tables inside. After getting the notification to select what I wanted to get serviced, I waited for 2+ hours before finally asking for a status update. Patrick asked whether I had “just” made my choices and said he thought I had found another place to wait. I’m not sure why that matters or why he would’ve been confused. In any event, it was only after that point that they started working on my car.
Then, when I went to check out, I presented coupons that looked like they offered $50 off. Only in fine print and in very confusing language did it say that actually, the coupon was for 15% off, up to $50. When I expressed some exasperation at this (I wouldn’t have opted for some of the filter changes at sticker price), the cashier said that all customers who bring in those coupons are similarly taken aback. This is a known problem! Further, I had shown Patrick the coupons when I first arrived and asked whether I could use them today. The least he could have done is point out the fine print.
So much time had been wasted by that point that I really didn’t want to make a bigger deal out of either thing, but I couldn’t help feel like today, I got duped and Bob Smith Toyota lacked accountability. I’m a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime Toyota owner. I have no intention of being a pain but I was so disappointed.
