I’m not the type of person who leaves negative reviews. If I’m unhappy with a business, I simply don’t go back. I’m writing this because of the poor customer service and misleading pricing, and I hope Bob Smith Toyota takes this as an opportunity to improve. I’ve been a loyal Bob Smith Toyota customer for over 25 years and have purchased multiple vehicles there. I scheduled an online appointment for a wheel alignment ($155) and tire rotation ($45) for my 2024 Toyota Tundra, and that price was confirmed when I dropped off my truck with my service advisor. About 20 minutes later, my service advisor called and said the price had jumped to over $350 because “Tundras take more time.” I immediately called Glendale Toyota and was quoted $129.95 for the alignment and $39.95 for the tire rotation on the exact same truck. When I questioned Bob Smith Toyota, they insisted their higher price was correct, so I picked up my truck and took it to Glendale Toyota instead. They honored their quoted price with no surprises. My question is simple: if aligning a 2024 Toyota Tundra costs significantly more, why does Bob Smith Toyota’s online scheduling system display an alignment price of $159.95 when that vehicle is selected? Customers should be informed of any additional charges before making an appointment and dropping off their vehicle, not afterward. My biggest disappointment isn’t the price. It’s how the situation was handled. Even if the online pricing was a mistake, a dealership that values long-term customers should honor the advertised price, especially after the customer has already dropped off the vehicle. Instead of keeping a loyal customer happy, they chose to stand by the higher price. That decision cost them my business and led me to write this review. Unless they take responsibility and make things right, I won’t be returning.

Today I discovered a cable dangling by my left foot as I drove. It wasn’t there before my appointment, and it shouldn’t be there. Frankly, it looks dangerous. I will need to bring the car back now. Very disappointing and kind of scary.
