The porter was very rude and unprofessional but I was very pleased with my service advisor Kimberly Ruesga. When I first arrived for my Toyota care appointment, the porter stood very far away. So far that I thought he was not the person who was supposed to check me in. Since I did not want to assume what his responsibilities were, I continued to wait patiently in my car. This porter after a few seconds, proceeded to return to his stool by the gate, so I thought for sure that he was not supposed to check me in. Then a few moments later, another customer arrived and this same porter approached this client and checked her in. Since I arrived first, I then informed the porter that I wanted to check in also. He then told me not to give him any attitude. I said that I was not trying to give him attitude but I was just trying to let him know that I wanted to check in also. He then accused me again of trying to give him attitude and that I shouldn’t give him attitude just because he is younger than me. The porter then dismissively checked me in and luckily Kimberly approached me a few moments later with a very helpful attitude. She was able to assist me with everything with kindness and professionalism so I was very pleased with my interaction after my bizarre and frankly unacceptably rude encounter with this porter. Kimberly went so far as to personally bring my promptly serviced car out to me when I returned. It is fair to say that my interaction with Kimberly was top notch from start to finish. I just wanted to mention that I work in healthcare, so I know a little bit about customer service. I would never speak to my patients or my staff in the disrespectful manner in which this porter spoke to me today nor would they allow me to do so.
Start honoring the Toyota warranty!! Start fixing vehicles instead of hiding behind the simple unable to duplicate or compared to same year model same wind noise. Let your service writer write down all the concerns I have instead of saying I have concerns that were not addressed or resolved and they were not addressed and written down on the repair order a complaint will be filed with the bureau of automotive repair and Toyota. And hire some real techs instead of part changers enough is enough I hope bob rotts in hell
